A Musician and Her Instrument

This is the first of a series of drawings of girls with various instruments. Presumably, each girl is a different personality, and plays a different instrument. The band is a standard seven person ska band, so there will be Trombone, Trumpet, Sax, Drums, Bass, Guitar, and Singer.

Hope you like her, she took about six to eight hours to complete, pencil, inked, scanned and photoshopped.

An Inked Tromboner

Once again, a trombone playing girl. A tromboner, if you will.

Update: Now she actually has a trombone :)

A Cute Little Angel, Supposedly

This is a drawing of one of my friends, Cailin, inspired by a photo of her I saw.

Don't be deceived by that cute smile and halo, she can be ferocious. Rawr.

The Beach

Watch Time Fly By...

Sitting on the porch is one of the best past times ever invented, personally.

In addition to the photos in the basement, Alishia was kind enough to sit and think about life and things for a little while on my porch, and I snapped a few photos while she wasn't looking :)

Groping in the Dark, Just to Find...

These pictures were taken in my basement. Strangely enough, we have a little creepy stone room down there with a lonely window. We assume it was the old coal room. Our house is old :D

Alishia, upon seeing the room for the first time, declared that it would be awesome for a few photos. I agreed.

Beautiful Flower on a Beautiful Girl

This is one done for my friend, Kat. For her birthday, I told her that I wanted to draw on her back. She even gave me her entire back to use as her canvas, for which I am grateful, for the end result is quite stunning. The drawing of a flower on her shoulder was the only part I had designed before I started, and followed the drawing I posted earlier.

I didn't even tell her what I was drawing until I showed her the final product :P She managed to trust me, and was super shocked when she saw the photo of what was on her back.

The drawing took approx 2 hours to finish, and, as usual, was done in black marker.

A Butterfly and Her Messenger God

A pair of drawings my friend Stephanie. During our recent poker game, I managed to lose my money pretty early, and Steph offered her back as a canvas, to which I took advantage, with a butterfly. She liked it so much, she got me to draw something on her ankle, and I decided to draw a wing, symbolic of the messenger God Hermes, who had winged sandals. Or, of the Flash. Whichever :P

Beautiful Flower

This flower I drew on my friend Alishia, who I've drawn on before, with great success. This flower is something I've wanted to draw on someone for a little while, and she finally gave me the chance to do so :D

Drawn in marker, taking approx 45 mins to complete. Thank you to Alishia for lending her shouder and herself for the photos, as well as being good at getting drawn on :P

Girl in Chains Commission

This is a drawing I did for one of my friends. It took quite some time to finish, from the time I drew and inked it, to the time I finally finished colouring it in photoshop.

Hope she likes it.

I live in a new house, and it's AWESOME :)

This is a photo of my friend alishia that she took, trying to see what she could do with her new haircut, and make-up. I thought it was super rad, and so I brought the photo into photoshop, and played around with it. Making her eyes deeper blue, and making them clear when the rest of the photo is blurry really makes them stand out, and totally enhances her already awesome eyeballs.

Hope she likes it.

Meanwhile, I've moved into a new house, which is totally bitching. It's nice to not live in an apartment anymore. Hopefully, with this new, more conveniently located house, I'll be able to draw on more people, and post more photos. Yay.
