A Brother's Guitar

This is a drawing I did for my brother for his birthday. He's 24, and is a great admirer/player of guitars in all shapes and sizes. I thought that I would take my crazy line art stuff and make him a guitar for his birthday.

I drew it with felt tipped pen, using pencil on the headstock and the body to plan out the general shape. I didn't, however, plan any of the details, and just used whatever mood I was in to fill in the lines, which can be seen by all the different styles I did over the course of the week, as it took a VERY LONG TIME to draw.

Afterwards, I brought it into photoshop, cleaned it up a wee bit, and got it printed and framed for his birthday. All told, the drawing took about 15 hours to draw, spread over 5 days.

Talk about brotherly love :P
