Wings With Which to Fly

This pair of wings was drawn for my friend Michelle who heard that I was drawing on people. She was also kind enough to pose for a few moments while I grabbed a few candid shots with my camera :)
The photos are kind of iffy, but I really like the wings, and I hope she does too, and I hope she'll let me draw on her again sometime.

Drawn with marker, the wings took approx. ninety minutes to draw.

Gothy Geisha Girl

This is a comission I'm doing for my friend, Anthony. He asked for a geisha type girl wearing a kimono, and with a weapon. It's not done, as of yet, but it's currently the best image in my new sketch pad.

A Girl With Hair

This is a drawing I did because I like drawing girls in profile, and I like it when they're hair is all sorts of crazy.

Pencil, then pen, then scan and photoshop, standard issue around here.

Double Commission

I've recently taking to drawing pieces for my friends, based on whatever specifications they provide. This has led to some interesting commissions, and here are two of the ones I did for my friends Tasha and her dude Anthony. Same Anthony from earlier.

Both were drawn in pencil, inked with pen, uploaded and coloured in photoshop.

I actually didn't quite like the outcome of the first one, the firey one, while I was drawing it. As I was finishing inking it, I thought I would do a second, with a different pose. The second one ended up being my favorite, so it's all good :)

It didn't turn out too bad, considering it's the first time I ever tried.

The 21st Year

Well... I suppose I've now hit the big 21 years old, as today is my birthday. Who-da thunk it. It's kind of strange, this process of getting older, and I'm not entirely sure I'm happy with where my life is going.

Hopefully this year, this 21st year of the story of my life, I'll be able to take action to go and actually do something that makes me happy. Here's hoping.

Now, aside from all the boring emotional stuff, I've got two new sketches. Sadly, my scanner isn't big enough, so one of them is cut down a little bit, but whatever. One is something I've wanted to try drawing for a while, a guy and a girl kissing. It's so far done in pencil, and isn't currently done.

The other is a wood nymph that my friend Mel is going to be playing in an upcoming photoshoot type thingy. I was hanging out with her, and she told me to draw that, and so I did. I'm actually really happy with the way it turned out.
